Blanket Care Instructions

Blankets are packaged in a plastic bag. Let the blanket air out 5-10 minutes to allow the yarn to conform to its shape. Pieces of yarn may appear to be "shedding" from the blanket. This is not the case. These are remnants of yarn from the manufacturing process and trapped in the bag from the packaging process. Wash and dry to remove remnants.

 

 

Machine wash in cold or low warm water, preferably using a gentle cycle; do not add bleach or fabric softener. Tumble dry on the lowest heat setting to maintain the quality of the chenille; do not wring or iron. Blankets may also be dry cleaned.

 

 

Blankets are handmade with multiple spools of chenille yarn and are manually tied together. Although it is rare, knots can loosen over time when pulled with enough force. The ends can be re-tied by using a simple knot.
